Scratches, dents and scuffs
Say goodbye to scratches and dents when you leave your car in our capable hands. With any number of ways to address your car body damage, from a quick polish using the best compounds on the market, or to advanced dent pulling techniques with systems from award winning brands like KECO, Power-TEC and GYS.
Keco is an industry leader in glue pulling technology. Using their system of careful temperature controlled pulls with ultra flexible hot adhesives and specialist tabs we can eliminate dents and creases whilst maintaining factory panel coatings. This means no damage to rust prevention layers on the inside of body panels therefore keeping the same corrosion protection as when it left the manufacturer.
This system outshines other methods especially with tricky to manipulate aluminium panels and when working on Hybrid or Electric Vehicles, where sensitive electronics or high voltage battery’s make other methods unfeasible or time consuming. This system allows us to keep Hybrids and EV’s in a powered on state, with no danger to the vehicle or colleagues, which isn’t possible with traditional techniques using spot welding technology.
From GYS we have on hand their combination Aluminium/Steel ‘All In One’ dent puller and their newly released Airfix Draw Aligner pulling tower, enabling up to 350kg of lateral force to be applied to any stubborn damage. These two tools form the backbone of dent pulling with a tool and method for every dent, big or small, shallow or deep.
Power-TEC offers us another option for dent removal on steel panels with their Miracle Dent Pulling system employing similar methods and results to the GYS system mentioned above.
Power-TEC also allows us to repair most types of plastic bumpers with the Nitrogen Plastic welder. This equipment generates its own nitrogen to shield the superheated plastic, removing opportunity for oxidisation which could cause failure of the weld. This leaves a repair that is just as strong as the original bumper before the damage occurred with the same amount of flexibility and durability.
For instances where it’s more cost effective to replace rather than repair we can help source and fit new panels and parts from Original Equipment Manufacturers or insurance approved Motor Factors. We can also help advise you on used parts, the common problems to look out for and identify the correct paint code and colour name to make your search as easy as possible.
We’re also one of the few independent places certified to work on Hybrid/ Electric vehicles. We have IMI level 3 certificates enabling us to safely power down modern high voltage batteries. This allows us to work on and around these vehicles with no risk of damaging expensive battery packs and electronics or danger to life either during or after the repair process.
‘You can have any colour, so long as it’s black’
Henry Ford is often quoted as saying that famous line but in today’s industry we’ve got the ability to mix any manufacturer colour available. With our in-house water based mixing scheme and Spectrometer colour camera we can dial in the exact shade that makes your car yours.
Exclusive paints are also becoming more common with Three and even Four stage paint options appearing on everyday cars where they were once the sole reserve of high end exotics and super cars. Although this can increase repair times there’s no need to fear, our experts are armed with the latest paint spray guns and their aim is set on the perfect colour match.
Consistency is the key to success.
That is why we have invested in two Dalby paint booths, these allow us to finely control the temperature, air quality and environment that your vehicle is painted in for flawless consistent results.
With multiple levels of air filtration we extract any potentially harmful chemicals from the air before it is either recycled through the booth or released into the atmosphere. They also filter out dust particles or contaminants which could be pulled in from outside thus speeding up the turn around time by saving hours of potentially painful rectification work.
Both booths feature heating elements that precisely control the air temperature going into the spray area, this means each job is efficiently heated and cured to specific temperatures depending on manufacturer guidelines and product panel temperature requirements. This locks in gloss levels and speeds up the paint hardening process giving you a worry free finish with no special aftercare needed.
